Arthur @ Uskalot was last year's offering from Usk Pageant Players.

A very different affair from last year's 'Battle & Banquet', it was a humorous romp through some of the Arthur tales, with tongue firmly in cheek. The central theme covered Arthur's battles with the sword in the stone, which were interrupted for the cast to present a funny take on some of the Arthur stories.

There was a distinct panto-type feel to the whole evening, so everyone came along prepared to boo the baddies and cheer on the Knights!

In a further change from 2005, last year's event started at 7.30pm, thus taking place entirely in the light. Dusk fell just as the show finished.

The audience were more than welcome to bring chairs, rugs, seats of all sorts, plus picnics, wine and drink of all sorts! The Castle was open from 6.30 so you had a full hour to enjoy your own banquet before the show starts.
